• Who is Trademill?
Trademill is the website trading name of MM Products Ltd. Mark Millar who is the director founded the business in 2005.
We started off selling wholesale vintage clothing, and have also moved into new clothing stock buying, as well as maintaining our presence in the vintage clothing world.
We are mainly a clothing stock buyer and seller, and have introduced this website to enable smaller retail outlets to benefit from our buying power and contacts.
• What does ex chainstore mean?
Ex-chainstore means that the clothing was originally made for a major UK high street chainstore who cancelled the order. The most common cause for cancellations is late delivery. We can then offer them to our wholesale customers at a substantially lower price than the original manufacturer's price to the store group who ordered them in the first place!
• Are original labels removed?
Store labels are removed, cut or blacked out in accordance to requirements of the chainstores. This is in order to protect the intellectual rights of the original high street chainstore and to prevent unauthorised store-returns. Labels are removed by the manufacturer or by ourselves before sale, however it is our customers' responsibility to ensure all labels have been removed prior to sale.
• Where do you buy your clothing from?
We have many different buying sources. We buy cancelled goods direct from the manufacturer, overstocks, discontinued lines, last seasons models, liquidation stock. We also buy from companies who are looking to clear off large quantities of stock. We also get regular offers from overseas manufacturers and sources, looking to clear stock.
• What if I am not happy with my order? Can I return it?
Trademill offers a 'No Quibble" 7 Day returns policy on all purchases. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, even if there are no faults, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item.
We will not refund items that are returned without the full original ratio (unless the items are faulty.
• What if I receive a faulty item?
If any item has a fault, we will then exchange it free of charge or provide a credit, or refund if the item is no longer available upon receipt of the faulty item.
• What is your minimum order requirement?
There is no minimum order requirement. Styles are sold in ratio packs. You can purchase just one ratio pack of any style.
• What is a ratio pack?
A ratio pack is a pack of mixed sizes, sometimes mixed colours. Depending on sizes we buy, we give an equal mix of each size as much as possible.
e.g. If we sell a ratio pack of 10 in sizes 8 to 14, and say the ratio is 1221, this means:
size 8 x 1, size 10 x 2, size 12 x 2, size 14 x 1. Total 10 items.
With some of the cheaper lines, we may sell in packs of 25 to 50.
Most lines are ratio packed in 10’s or 12’s.
• Do you ship to all countries?
We do ship to most countries. If your country is not listed, please contact us for a shipping quote. We welcome any enquirey from 1 box to 1 container. We prefer if customers can organize their own delivery but we do offer a very competative parcel delivery service and price structure.
• What about VAT?
Prices quoted are excluding VAT at the current rate of 20% on adult clothing. No VAT is payable on children's wear. Any VAT applicable to your order is calculated and added at checkout.
If you are from an EU country, please supply your correct VAT number when email your order and you will not be charged VAT.
All customers from outside of the EU will not be charged VAT but you may be liable to import taxes in your country.
• What forms of payment do you accept?
You can pay by Paypal, Credit/Debit card, cheque or by direct payment to our bank account. If you wish to pay by direct payment to our bank account please email us for our bank. Once cleared funds are received, we will despatch the goods.
• When will I receive my order?
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 1 working day. We will notify you when we have dispatched your order. We send our goods to UK customers on a next day delivery service, via Fedex delivery service, which means you should receive them before 6pm a day after dispatch. This service is fully trackable and is very reliable.
• Do you sell cheaper in bulk?
Yes. Most of the lines we sell are normally available in much larger volumes than standard packs. If you are a big exporter, shopkeeper, buyer or market trader and want to buy larger amounts, please email or ring us to discuss prices.
• Is it possible to view the stock?
You are welcome to come and visit during office hours. Please call to make an appointment before you come. We welcome anyone to come and visit our warehouse, as we do like to meet our customers face to face to build a working relationship.
